We are receiving customer complaints regarding our Canada network.
Our engineers are engaged in investigating the ongoing issues.
Errors are present on the core router's ASIC and we are in touch with the vendor.
Vendor's recommendation is to upgrade the firmware ASAP.
We are taking in consideration to move forward the firmware update which is subject of this maintenance and perform it today.

The firmware upgrade according to vendor instructions failed.
For now our team has patched the minor issues only.
However, we also addressed the connectivity issues in Montreal so customer services have been restored to normal parameters.
While we work with the vendor to implement the final fix and the upgrade to the latest firmware as initially planned, the maintenance will now be postponed.
We will update this page as soon as we reach a conclusion with the vendor and re-schedule.

The initial upgrade has been finished, but some features are not working as expected.
We've been in contact with the vendor regarding this.
They have recommended a different version to which we should upgrade immediately.
2 more interruptions of 20 minutes are to be expected.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we are forced to extend the maintenance window as we're still investigating the abnormal functionality of the router after the software upgrade.
The ETR is not known yet, we will come with more updates once they're available.

Sorry for not posting any update so far.
Our team has been monitoring the traffic in our Montreal PoP since last night to ensure customer services are working at optimal parameters.
After several difficulties were encountered and work has been done along with the vendor, the core router is at a stable state.
Maintenance is now considered completed, with no further impact expected on live services.
